Street Smarts - Motorcycles at the Library

0 Ratings / 0 Comments

Irving residents who like to ride motorcycles can participate in Street Smarts – Motorcycles at the Library from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 26 at the Irving Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd. The program will begin with a presentation by experienced motorcycle safety trainers Andy Hudson and Chris Litfin of the Motorcycle Training Center.

At 4 p.m., participants will experience the dizzying and intoxicating world of rugged road riders by viewing the Academy Award nominated film “On Any Sunday,” presented courtesy of monterey media and Bruce Brown Films. Throughout the afternoon, bikes from Irving’s Stadium Yamaha will be on display in the lobby of the library.

“Some people say it is easy to learn to ride a motorcycle, but it is another matter to develop the basic skills and techniques necessary to ride safely,” said Litfin. “We’ll explain what riders need to know to be in control of a motorcycle.”
