First Annual Wolford Elementary Carnival Is Fun For All

The rides were fantastic, the weather was perfect, and everyone had a great time as Wolford Elementary held its First Annual Spring Fling Carnival on Saturday April 5th. Carnival activities included traditional carnival games and prizes, numerous bounce houses, a t-shirt tie-dyeing station, a glass art project station, face painting, a performance by Wolford’s Drama Club and much, much more.
Proceeds from the carnival, sponsored by the Wolford PTA, will benefit numerous PTA initiatives including purchasing new playground equipment, 4th grade trip to Enterprise City, 5th grade end of the year activity, stained glass art materials, classroom parties, staff appreciation, bike safety day, field day, and several arts in education programs to name a few. Wolford PTA would like to thank the numerous parent volunteers dedicated to the success of their children through the countless hours of work that has gone into our first Carnival. Special thanks to Beth Drennan, Tyrra Adams, Denise Woodram, and Janet Koch who have been working on the carnival since August.
