Lakewood Elementary held its annual spring carnival on Saturday, April 12th. A record number of neighbors attended the event, which featured carnival rides, booths, games and even a huge hula hoop contest. Kids and parents alike sported their 50's fashion in the spirit of the "Grease" theme. Attendees enjoyed food provided by Burger House.  A silent auction and raffle helped to raise money for our neighborhood school and gave families a chance to win some great products and services including a Wii game system, tickets to local events and even weekend getaways. Fun was had by all for a good cause. Hope to see you next year!
