CMSE Students Donate over 400 jars of peanut butter

0 Ratings / 0 Comments
Coppell I.S.D. recently organized a peanut butter drive for the North Texas Food Bank's "Food 4 Kids" Program.  On Friday, April 18, 2008, Coppell Middle School East students and families donated over 400 jars of peanut butter for this drive, which will help hungry children in our community.   CMSE students and families have generously donated to families in need throughout the school year.  In November 2007, they donated almost 100 turkeys to the North Texas Food Bank and over 500 cans of food to Metrocrest Social Services in Carrollton, and in December 2007, they donated over 2,400 cans of food to the Lions Club.  Additionally, in its annual toy collection for the CCA Angel Tree Program, CMSE students "adopted" and provided Christmas presents for 75 angels from this program.
