"Favors with Chris Brown" Fills Snider Plaza with Shades of Lavender, Chocolate Brown and Lollipop Girls

0 Ratings / 0 Comments

Shades of lavender and chocolate brown, the colors of “Favors with Chris Brown,” were everywhere at the SniderPlaza grand opening party for the new event planning service.  Floral designer Brown has taken his upscale floral design business and expanded to full-service event planning in the new SniderPlaza shop.

The grand opening event April 3rd introduced clients – current and potential – to his ability to design and produce spectacular events.  Joining Brown in the new business endeavor is Tammy Favors, a Park Cities mom who shares with Brown similar aspirations in innovative event planning.    The grand opening event, of course, showcased Brown’s creativity and attention to detail.  Purple “red carpet” and lavender velvet ropes, along with violet traffic cones, set the tone for guests upon arrival.  Award-winning cheerleaders from Cheer Athletics of Garland, the evening’s “lollipop girls” were clad in purple from head to toe (literally…from their purple toenail polish to their neon lavender wigs!), greeting guests with retro candy in grape and chocolate flavors.  Grape martinis and chocolate martinis kept guests hydrated.  And mini root beer floats were the perfect dessert.  Not missing even the smallest detail, Brown even placed lavender Listerine in the ladies room!

The evening’s entertainment, with something for everyone, included live hip-hop and dance outside in the special event tent, which was surrounded by old-fashioned lollipops and rock candy hanging from wrought iron trees.  Two indoor venues were mellow, offering a cool jazz trio and solo guitarist.

Guests were a who’s who in Dallas society:  retired Dallas Cowboy Daryl Johnston and his wife Diane, Carmen and Don Godwin, Dallas jeweler Sue Gragg, Barry and Lana Andrews, Natalie and Mike McGuire, and Matthew and Natalie Perry.

In keeping with the theme of the evening, and Brown’s attention to detail, party favors for guests (which were placed in cars by valets dress in, you guessed it, purple uniforms) included a fresh potted African violet.
