Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS Dallas) counselor Michelle Burton has been selected by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling as one of eight counselors to take part in a financial telephone panel on NBC’s Today Show. Burton, a PACE Counselor of the Year nominee will staff the phones during a special focus on personal finance with expert Jean Chatzky. Michelle Burton, who joined CCCS Dallas’ Amarillo office in 1997, was nominated for the PACE award for her above and beyond approach to client advocacy. Besides her works at CCCS, Burton is very involved in the community and will serve as the leader of the Downtown Women’s Center in Amarillo this year. Burton will be on The Today Show Monday, May 5, which airs locally on KXAS-TV from 7 to 11 a.m. CT.
