Thursday May 8th Lake Highlands Elementary was transformed to the United Nations as the school celebrated its annual Multicultural night. From all corners of the globe (and the neighborhood), there were food samplings, singing, dancing, student performances, colorful costumes and live entertainment. Thanks to crack organizing by this years Multicultural Committee of Toni Stroud, Gretchen Wilson and Lori Toungate, the large turnout of students, parents, teachers and neighbors enjoyed many corners of the world on the corner of Ferndale and Lakemere.
