The LHHS Varsity girls soccer team spent the spring semester mentoring a local girls U10 soccer team.  The varsity girls game to the Rockets FC 98 soccer practices each Thursday to help run drills and scrimmage with the younger girls' team.  The connection between the two teams was made by Varsity coach Misty Benson and Rockets coach Andy Pell, who are both LHHS graduates.  Friendships were formed between the older and younger players, with many of the Rockets girls attending the Varsity girls games, and the older players attending the Rockets games, as well.   The last week of the Varsity season, the Rockets team came to the high school for a practice in Wildcat/Ram stadium.
