The Texas Xpress Basketball Club will be holding try outs on Sunday June 1stfrom 6:00-7:30 pm at the Coppell Recreation Center for incoming 4th & 5th & 6th grade boys. The Texas Xpress is the only year-round youth basketball club in Coppell. Established in 2001, the club currently consists of seven teams: 4th through 8th grades. Every fall season, a new 4th grade team is added to the club. The mission of the Texas Xpress is to prepare young athletes for basketball in the Junior High and Senior High by teaching individual and team fundamentals as well as building character, so that they can deal with future obstacles in life.
