On May 5th - 16th the students of Bluebonnet Elementary participated in a recycling contest sponsored by the PTA and Allied Waste. Each grade level was challenged to fill a 95 gallon recycle bin on a daily basis with plastic water bottles and aluminum soda cans. The first and fourth grades will be rewarded extra recess and an ice cream party for filling up thier bin most often. The contribution by the families at Bluebonnet Elementary was overwhelming!
