Bolin's Pride Council Shows Their Spirit
Bolin Elementary students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades serve on their Pride Council. Angie Mirkes, counselor, leads the students in their service to others. The members of the Pride Council serve their school and community in a variety of ways. The students organized and completed the Thanksgiving Food Drive, each month the students count, collect and box the school's monthly ACO donation, they make posters and create announcements for important school events, the students meet with younger grades to promote school spirit, events and community awareness, they recently helped set up, serve at and clean up at the school's spaghetti dinner and soon will be helping with Bolin's first Fitness Fun Day.
