MESQUITE SELECTS SERVICE CHAMPIONS

(Mesquite, Texas) – As part of its Project Renewal initiative the City of Mesquite has selected its first group of employees to be recognized as “Service Champions”.
Service Champions are groups or individuals who exceed our standards of customer service while helping the people of Mesquite. They are nominated by their supervisors, and selected based on their achievements.
Mesquite’s first Service Champions are: Arti Waghray, Hollis Gassett, Lucy DeTamble and Denise Childs.
This group has: devised cheaper methods to creating equipment, developed technology which protects other employees and saves on healthcare costs, improved redevelopment in a local neighborhood and added a much needed piece of hardware to the Fire Department through volunteer work.
Champions are chosen based on merit, so the number of employees recognized can vary from year to year.
