The Individual Contributions Committee of The Richardson Symphony Orchestra recently honored the generous supports who contribute $1000 or more per year to the Orchestra. The Richardson Symphony is the resident orchestra for the Eisemann Center.
The party was held Sunday May 18 at the Richardson Woman's Club. A group of nineteen youth musicians from Plano's Robinson Middle School performed string compositions for the guests. This group comprised of 6th, 7th and 8th graders under the direction of RSO member and Robinson's Orchestra Director, Mary Havenstrite.
The committee members and their spouses hosting the event were: Bill and Mary Martha Harper, Pat and Dolan McDaniel, Harold and Mary Shiroma, Dolores and Mike Spence, Fred and Jane Stalkup, Mike and Linda Proch and committee chairman LaRuth Morrow and her husband Richard Morrow.
Among the guests were Music Director/Conductor Anshel Brusilow and his wife Marilyn; and George Landis, President/Executive Director of the RSO. In addition the parents and family members of the youth musicians attended the performance.
