Flower Mound United Methodist Church proudly presented its first full-scale musical production of one of the longest-running Broadway shows in the history of musical theater--Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, May 2-4, 2008.

The intergenerational cast and chorus, ages 7 through senior adult, consisted almost entirely of Flower Mound UMC church members. McKamyMiddle School student Tucker Carpenter, first chair alto saxophone in McKamy’s honors choir, took on the key role of Benjamin. He loves to perform, but says his first love “is and always will be cars.”Church member and director Scott Bardin said: “This cast has brought fun and enthusiasm to our production, making my job all the easier.”

Senior Minister Reid Fade, with a background in performing, conducting and producing, played Potiphar’s wife and Associate Minister Carol Sparks brought the role of Levi’s wife to life. Lewis Worthington, FMUMC's Director of Music Ministry, served as music director and conductor and dedicated the performance to his family and colleagues at FMUMC.
