At Lake HighlandsElementary, the last full week of school is always exciting and filled with one fun event after another for the students. May 29th and 30th were particularly fun days for the kids thanks to 'This and That' day and 'Pajamas' day.

The theme of the entire week was 'Spirit' and the kids certainly lived up to it.  On 'This and That' day, kids arrived at school wearing anything and everything that DIDN'T match.  'Pajamas' day was, of course, the wearing of your PJ's - AND your slippers - all day. That included teachers too.

And there was 'Jersey' day and 'Hat' day.  As if all that wasn't enough, there was the Uniform Fairy party thrown for kids who have worn their LHE colors - black, red and khaki - throughout the year. Not to mention the Safety Patrol party.  And the Sky Ranch popsicle after school sales. And the selling of 'Smencils' (pencils with a variety of scents) to raise money for next years' supplies.

Truly, LHE captured the Spirit of the last full week of school.
