There are always fond memories of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day passed. Who can forget burned pancakes and cold coffee served by a sweet child or just one more tie picked out by a preschooler?   Sometimes memories come in the form of a tattered handcrafted invitation via an overstuffed backpack.  The event is strictly for you and your little one.  These are the really special opportunities that fill our treasure trove of cherished memories.

For first grade parents, two separate events were held in Communion Hall on the school campus of St. Pius X Catholic Church; Muffins with Moms and Donuts with Dad.  Upon entering Communion Hall, parents were greeted by their child and presented with a precious gift crafted by their child.  Next the parents and children enjoyed time together and delicious pastries and coffee or juice. Attendees exclaimed that spending the morning with their child was a well deserved treat and the highlight of their day.  As children reluctantly lined up to go to class, they had crumbs and smiles on their faces and happiness in their hearts because they knew they were loved and showed love in return.
