Rowlett High School Drill Team Performs at The Oil Bowl

The Silver Rhythm Dancers (SRD's), Rowlett High School's National Champion drill team, performed during half-time at The 71st Annual Oil Bowl in Wichita Falls on Sat., June 21st. The SRD's received a personal invitation to perform by Mr. Homer B. Johnson, Athletic Director for Garland Independent School District, who was being inducted to the Texas Football Hall of Fame at this years' game. To show his appreciation, Mr. Johnson treated the team to lunch upon arrival in Wichita Falls. The SRD's are under the direction of Ms. Grechen Short and Ms. Tiffany Mitchell.
