The Officers from Rowlett High School ' s award-winning drill team attended Crowdpleasers Officer Camp during the first week of June at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Houston . Several hundred officer groups from around Texas attended the four day camp. Led by Captain, Chance Greenwood, the officers won several awards including Superior Performance-Home Routine, Most Outstanding Home Routine, Outstanding Showmanship, Outstanding Choreography, and the Gold Elite award. The Junior Varsity Officers also made a good-showing with a Gold Superior award. The Rowlett Drill Team directors are Ms. Grechen Short and Ms. Tiffany Mitchell.
