I-30 Transportation Survey for Dallas/Arlington Commuters

0 Ratings / 0 Comments
DFW motorists who regularly travel I-30 (Tom Landry Freeway), between Loop 12 in Dallas and Loop 360 in Arlington, are invited to participate in a short survey being conducted on behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The purpose of this survey is to gather public opinion regarding several transportation-related topics. The survey asks Tom Landry Freeway commuters to express their thoughts and opinions about:

- perception of congestion

- travel frequency

- time of day traveling

- purpose of trip

- opinion regarding high occupancy vehicle (HOV) managed lanes

- opinion regarding tolls on HOV lanes

TxDOT is interested in what the public has to say and will use the comments received to help develop future transportation improvement projects.

The survey is being conducted by the Texas Transportation Institute at TexasA&MUniversity for TxDOT, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). TxDOT and its partners need public involvement to help ensure Texans have a safe and effective transportation system which reflects the needs and values of the communities they serve.

The public can access the survey at www.dallastravelsurvey.org.
