The Irving YMCA brought nearly 100 campers to Dr. Pepper Park in Arlington last week.  Campers ranging from 5 to 12 years of age got the chance to dig in and swing for the fences.  Irivng summer campers felt like big-leagers as counselors "Gatorade" Gabe Deem and "Superman" Bobby Deaton provided the play by play over the loud-speakers.  The 2008 Summer Day Camp theme is "Around the World in a Summer!"  Last week's theme was the USA and you just can't get more American than a trip to the ballpark!  As you can see from the photos, they had a blast!
