1 Rating / 1 Comment

HP dad and Football Coach Vaughn Miller took his Armstrong Elementary sons Vaughn and Vance Miller, along with schoolmate John Cahill, to the Dallas Cowboys football camp in Valley Ranch. Coach Miller has been coaching his sons YMCA football teams since the first grade and now has the 2nd grade Jedi team and 4th grade Cowboys team for this Fall lined up.

The weeklong camp took place in the airconditioned, covered football facility where the Dallas Cowboys call home, and culminated with Vaughn and Vance’s team winning the play off tournament and Vaughn being named MVP of the camp, scoring 2 out of 3 touchdowns in the final game!

Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo made a surprise visit to the camp and spoke to the kids about football and the importance of doing well in school.Mascot Rowdy made an appearance as well.
