"Best Week Of Our Lives!" Young Life Camp 2008

During the week of July 5-13, 71 Allen High School kids enjoyed the "Best Week of Their Lives" at Castaway Club, a Young Life Camp in northern Minnesota. Kids enjoyed activities like rock climbing, tubing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, parasailing, etc. all on beautiful Pelican Lake, MN. We also spent some time at the Mall of America in St. Paul/Minneapolis. It was the biggest group of kids we've ever taken to summer camp. We took 9 just a couple summers ago!
Kids had a phenomenal week and they are excited about Young Life starting back up this fall with our Giant Food Fight Kickoff on September 15th and Tail-Gate Party Sept. 19th before the Allen football game. Allen Young Life will meet every Monday night at 7:29 starting Sept. 15th in the Clubroom behind The Harvest Church, 700 Rivercrest Blvd., Allen, TX 75002.
Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all — the truth about God and His love for them.
