Traffic Signal Repairs at Blair Oaks and South Colony in The Colony
The Colony Public Works Department is in the process of performing emergency repairs to the traffic signal controlling the intersection of Blair Oaks and South Colony. A significant electrical problem will necessitate replacement of the controller cabinet, and this work is expected to take several days to complete. The Department will make every attempt to return the signal to service as soon as possible. However, the earliest estimated date to resume normal signal operations is August 1, 2008.
The signal has been set to flash red in all directions until repairs can be performed. All traffic must stop and alternate with conflicting traffic as if the intersection were posted with stop signs in all directions. Please drive through this intersection with caution and be aware that workers may also be present as these repairs are accomplished.
