The 3rd Annual School Clothing Store, sponsored by First Baptist Church Duncanville opens on Saturday, August 9. It is 9am to 4pm. Last year this store provided dress code clothing for over 1,000 students, from 350+ families.

The clothing is free. Parents can get 4 items per child. The church has been collecting these clothes for the past 10 months. Families who received clothing in the past bring back good conditioned clothes (hand me downs); other community members have been donating clothes, and many others have given cash enabling the church to offer brand new clothing as well.

 The church is at 323 W. Wheatland Rd, and the phone is 972-298-1435 if one needs information.  Pastor Keith Brister also points out that the store will open again on Monday, August 11 for short periods of time: 10am to noon; and then 7pm-9pm. Afterwards, if there are clothes still available, parents will need to make an appointment for a time to come by.
