Heritage Christian Academy Partners with LeTourneau University
Heritage ChristianAcademy (HCA) is excited to announce a new partnership with LeTourneauUniversity. This fall Heritage will begin offering dual credit courses through Le Tourneau on the HCA campus. “This is a very unique opportunity for us to be able to partner with such an outstanding university knowing that our mission statements and educational philosophies are similar,” says Robert Huckabee, Assistant Headmaster. Paula Salter, a senior parent, agrees, “We have been visiting universities this summer and the academic advisors have been highly impressed that she would be receiving dual credit from a prestigious four year university.” LeTourneauUniversity is consistently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of "America's Best Colleges" and has also been honored for distinguished community service by being named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts. “One of the things that parents value the most at Heritage is the environment; so this is a great opportunity for our students to have the best of both worlds. They can earn college credit without having to leave the campus and the environment that we strive to provide for them,” says Dr. Ron Taylor, Headmaster. Heritage and LeTourneau are also in discussions about opening a satellite campus for adult education at HCA sometime in the near future.
