WE WANT Wii

1 Rating / 1 Comment

Wii Debut Day will be held at the Senior Center of McKinney on August 7th from 10am to 12 noon. For those of you not familiar with the popular Nintendo Wii (pronounced WE) System, (OK, we can admit it, there are a couple of us still out there) it is a wonderful interactive game that all the young folks are playing and some hip and happening seniors too.

Senior Select Home Health Services has donated a long sought after Wii game system for the seniors at the center and will be debuting the game this Thursday. The virtual sports activities are very popular with young and old alike and even those of us with little to no modern technology aspirations will find the games to be not only fun and entertaining but also demonstrating a wide variety of physical skill activities.

Carey Coleman, RN will be on hand to share her expertise and enthusiasm with the all the seniors who are anxiously awaiting the Wii arrival. So mark your calendar and check out this and many of the other activities provided at the Senior Center of McKinney located at 1400 S. College Street. For more information you can call 972-547-7491.
