Connie Erickson, nationally know portrait artist will begin a series of six 6 hour painting classes September 8th.  Connie has been painting and teaching professionally for over 20 years. She has won numerous  awards for her portraits and paintings and has work in collections throughout the country.  To see her work go to

In this series of classes she will be teaching how to draw and paint the visual impression, beginning with the fundamentals and working up to painting portraits in oils. Connie is known for her patience and skill at communicating and demonstrating the skills and knowledge needed to create an excellent painting. She gives a lot of individual attention to each student.  These classes will begin at 9:00 AM and continue to 3:00M with a sack lunch break.  This six hour period allows time for students to really concentrate on their  painting for an extended uninterrupted time.
