McKinneyChristianAcademy’s football games will be filled with lots of spirit this year due to the varsity cheerleading squad, who earned top honors at the NCA Cheerleading Camp this summer in Waco.  The cheerleaders were awarded 1^st place in game day competition, the Spirit Stick Award and the Spot Award for safety and stunting.  Alec Overn, MCA sophomore and squad captain, took two all-American nominations for the all American team and team leadership.  The varsity squad was a top performer this year receiving a bid to the National competition.
