Hello from a new blogger at this site from OrganDonorPromoter!  In the final planning stages of the 238-mile trek from Allen to Austin to Promote Organ Donor enlistments and to honor donor families, I am a bit nervous.  Why? I don't want to go it by myself and though many have expressed interest, only 2 people have committed to join me on Leg 1 & 2.  Maybe you can enlist some walkers to come out at 7:00 Labor Day and do the first Leg or a part of it.  Original plans had us staying on Greenville all the way to Walnut Hill, but a slight chance of rain forced me to reconsider. The revised plan will take us east on McDermott to Jupiter to Parker.  From there I will have a map and written directions with me. Leg 1 will end at Forest Ln. Sta. instead of W. Hill Sta. There are 18 XL and XXL T-shirts available to be slipped over clothing at prominent points where publicity is probably. They will be washed after each leg and reused. We still need water, energy snacks, people to gather and organ donors and recipients to join us.
