Lake Highlands Students Show Their Talent
A wide array of talent converged on LakeHighlandsHigh School October 16 and 18 during homecoming week for the annual Varsity Revue hosted by the Lake Highlands Area Band Club. This year’s show, entitled “America in Revue”, carried an election theme throughout the evening. Emcees, members of the LHHS marching band, performed skits between acts related to the upcoming elections. Numerous individual and small groups performed song and dance acts during both evenings. In addition, the varsity cheerleaders, Highlandettes, Wranglers and the high school marching band, including its colorguard and drumline, performed for the event. Proceeds from the two nights will support the music education programs for hundreds of students at the high school, two junior highs and nine elementary schools in the Lake Highlands area cluster.
