Shoppers in search of bargains rolled out of a warm house into the dark morning to kick off Black Friday. Neighborsgo kept up with the shoppers on its Twitter account.

Resting my footsies. Grapevine Mills is crazy! So far I've gotten too impatient and stepped out of line twice.

Someone seriously just ask a Kohl's employee "Why is everyone lined up?" The employee was silent for the first 5 seconds of her answer.

not the coldest #blackfriday but still. was able to get better position w a neighbor who stayed overnite. sweet.

store passing out maps to the store n giving folks tips to get em in n out fast for black friday. smart dude

OMG Never have I seen this many people in Walmart.

A zillion people at Walmart, and I'm tenth in line at Conn's. 'Course I have to wait an hour.. :-/ I woulda waited an hour at Walmart anyway

Standing outside Conn's, tapped sbux wifi - though I did grab a venti skinny carmel machiato, so it's all cool.

neighbor carried heavy stuff @ bb. in line @ target. sbux betta open @ 6 too or there's gonna b trouble.

can't believe the line at Target at this ungodly hour! insane!!! wait, that makes me insane, too!!! LOL

there is NO way I'm going out this morning to fight over the proverbial "cabbage patch doll" with a soccer mom in a freakin' Walmart...

almost bought a flat screen on sale for $300. got caught up in #blackfriday. i put it back. only watch one TV show n it's canceled.

Suddenly college-aged daughter and husband catapulted out of bed to go to HalfPrice Books for 7 a.m. $5 givaway to first 100 customers.

My wife, who LOATHES Black Friday, just hinted I should brave the crowds to buy her a new camera. Starting to think she doesn't like me much

waking up. guess I missed the 3am Black Friday opening!

Good morning! Feeling kinda bad for the folks camped out at Best Buy...that was quite the storm that came through at 3:30!

has now experienced walmart at 6 am

So, the closest Starbucks to me is very close to the mall. I am so not fighting that mess. I hear the Parks is at 80% Capacity.

No success for me at Gamestop, but wife succeeded at WalMart. I love price matching.

Wife headed out to shop (post-early morning crush). Kids and I are getting our Christmas decorations. Only crazy people shop this early. This includes me.

8 a.m. and earlier

Oh, black Friday... Lines, anger, and debt... Seems very Christmas to me

off to join the masses and see if there is any shopping of interest out there ;-).

Woke up at 4 and thought "I could get up and go to Kohls" but I didn't :-) I'm not a big shopper. Rather do it online than brave the crowds

Waiting in a line of 50 people at kohls. Getting gifts for the nieces. Can't beat 60% off.

Black Friday, let's see if I can avoid all shopping venues.

Black Friday deals seem pretty poor this year, maybe stores had already marked stuff down to try and boost economy problems.

We broke tradition this year and didn't do #blackfriday mostly because we are po'. Dang economy.

Mall from 6:30-9:30 = greatness. Mall after 9:30 = chaos. We're outta here chumps!

I was hoping to get in on the Black Friday super-deals. Do you think the stores are open yet?

Feeling claustrophobic just listening to the stories of early morning shopping. Thankful I didn't go, couldn't have handled it.

About to brave Black Friday for brunch in Grapevine TX. Wish me luck.
