Christopher Henry Krohn Makes Eagle Scout
The Topsanah District, in the Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America, announced October 27 that Christopher Henry Krohn has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Christopher’s Eagle project was to lead a group of volunteers to rebuild two of the fitness stations along part of the Town of Flower Mound’s walking and bike trail, specifically the location near WilkersonPark, at Morriss and Garden Roads. He led 24 volunteers to remove the existing, rundown structures from these two areas and install a new stretching post in one station and a sit-up bench in the other. The project took place in late July when temperatures hit 102 degrees on his main workday. Christopher raised $550 for his project.
Christopher is a 17 year old senior at FlowerMoundHigh School and a member of Troop 265, which is chartered by the Lamb of God Lutheran Church. He is the son of David and Nancy Krohn of Flower Mound.
He began Scouting as a Webelo in Cub Scout Pack 114, where he earned Cub Scouting’s highest award, the Arrow of Light. Christopher graduated to Boy Scouts, where he earned 25 merit badges on his trail to Eagle, as well as becoming a member of Scouting’s National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow.
