MCA VARSITY CHEERLEADERS EARN BID TO NATIONALS WITH 3RD PLACE FINISH AT UCA COMPETITION

McKinney Christian Academy Varsity Cheerleaders
took 3rd place last Saturday in the small team coed division of the
UCA (United Cheerleading Association) competition. The competition was held at
the Ft.WorthConvention Center
with attendance from teams around the state, representing both private and
public schools. The results of this competition have earned the MCA
Cheerleaders a bid to Nationals at Walt Disney World in Florida this February. The MCA Varsity Cheerleading squad is
comprised of Captain, Alec Overn, Co-Captains Kaitlyn Sparks and Avery Jones, Bekah
Holle, Meg Reece, Charis Orr, Nicki Noruk, Caleigh Franzmeier, Amanda Kidwell,
Joshua Sparks and Ethan Kovatch. The
team is coached by Jerri Sparks.
