The Legacy at Willow Bend recently held a graduation reception for the clinical rotation class of Plano West High School. Residents and staff joined the students to celebrate their graduation by handing out certificates and enjoying cake.
Students trained and studied with patients and staff to become official certified nursing assistants (CNA) through the program. At the end of the course, students performed procedures in order to pass the test.
“We were thrilled to have the clinical rotation class here over the past few months. We appreciated the hard work and great attitude of each student and wish them the very best luck in their future careers,” said Lisa Samuels, administrator of The Legacy at Willow Bend. “I know the residents here at The Legacy are going to miss the bright young faces!”
“We sincerely appreciate The Legacy at Willow Bend offering their new, exceptional health services center as a place where students could practice and learn in the best of conditions,” said Sherry McLaughlin, clinical instructor of PSO Health Occupations.
