NTCR " Kitty of the Week" ADOPTED

1 Rating / 1 Comment
Howie came into foster care with his brother, and both were rescued from the shelter as babies. They were bottle fed for several weeks. Bottle fed babies tend to make very affectionate, human friendly kitties and this is most definitely the case where Howie is concerned.
In June 2008, Howie & his brother were adopted together, but have since been returned to the rescue. Their owner could not keep them due to changes in her life. Surrendering her babies was one of the most difficult things she had ever had to do. She told us how Howie would sleep on her bed with her every night. She and her babies were sad to part ways.
Howie's brother has since been adopted and now it's his turn. He loves to have his belly rubbed and will roll over for you to do it. He is most definitely a lap cat and will love on you for as long as you pet him. He also loves to run around and play with his furry foster siblings. He loves to wrestle with the other cats in his foster home. He is used to dogs and children and will do well with either or both.
Howie is not a fan of attending adoption events as he is used to being in a home environment. The cages at adoption events are a new place for him and he much prefers to be free in the home to go where he pleases.
He loves to bask in the sun in front of a window, is often caught chasing another kitty around and is just as content to sit in your lap and be petted. He is one of his foster family's favorite fosters and he will be missed, but he is excited to find his permanent home and show you how loving he can be.

To schedule an appointment to meet Howie call 214-454-9395 or email ntcr@northtexascatrescue.org.

All cats at NTCR have tested negative for both Felv/FIV, are UTD on all vaccines, have been wormed and deflead.

Their adoption fee is: $110.00 cash or check

Many kitties can be seen during the week in our adoption centers in McKinney and Allen.
