Beginning on May 1, 2009, Cole Glasson will become an official member of the First Kart National Race Team as he races with the team at the next World Karting Association event in South Bend, Indiana. First Kart is the North American supplier for the First Kart brand and has offices in the US and Canada. First Kart’s National Race Team is a development program for young racers that want to continue on with a motorsports career. The team owner, Tony Ventresca, has put together a top notched program that includes track side support with chassis and engine, excellent driver and crew accommodations, as well as transportation of the karts to and from the National events. Cole had a great 2008 which allowed him to start getting more exposure and would not have had the success he did without the help of Kart Racing Solutions which is owned by DJ Ortiz. DJ was instrumental in coaching and tuning for Cole throughout the season and continues to be a vital piece in Cole’s racing future.

Cole will be traveling to Houston, Texas and Henderson, Texas for his next Regional races in April and then will be in South Bend, Indiana and New Castle, Indiana in May for his next two National Races with his First Kart National Team.
