Brian Loughmiller of Loughmiller Higgins PC was chosen by our readers as the winner of this year’s Neighbor’s Choice award as “Best Lawyer” for the neighborsgo edition covering McKinney.

Loughmiller, McKinney’s new mayor, was pleased with the award.

“I hope that we would always be mindful that we need to provide quality service to our community even without the recognition, but it provides a means for measuring the service we are giving,” he said.

Why do you think Loughmiller Higgins PC was named a Choice award winner?

We are dedicated to the community and provide legal services on a variety of matters, some of which are highly emotional. I believe that our attempt to maintain a positive parental framework even in a difficult situation like a divorce is a benefit to many people.

What do you think this award says about the firm?

We are also invested in our community beyond our commitment to provide legal services.

Why do you view this award as worthwhile?

I think it is nice to receive recognition for work that you do in your community although we would provide the services and be involved without the recognition. It is a good reminder to our employees of the value of service to others.

What is the most important thing for our readers to know about Loughmiller Higgins PC?

We are a small firm with a big heart and want to be involved in McKinney and contribute to improving our community. We also strive to provide good, sound legal advice and strive to maintain a high ethical standard.
