Edwards Floral Design was chosen by our readers as the winner of this year’s Neighbor’s Choice award as “Best Florist” for the neighborsgo edition covering McKinney.

It was the second consecutive year Edwards Floral Design won the reader vote in this category.

Stacy Edwards, president of the business whose motto is “Floral Artistry at its Finest,” said she felt “pleased and honored” by the selection.

Why do you think Edwards Floral was named a Choice award winner?

Our sales and customer service team are knowledgeable about our product and want to give our customers a pleasant experience so they will want to return to us for their next floral purchase. 

What do you think this award says about Edwards Floral?

Last week, a man drove to the shop to thank me for the help we gave to his family during a time of bereavement when we designed the family's funeral pieces. Our customers’ sincere appreciation and an award like this remind me that we must be doing the right things.

Why do you view this award as worthwhile?

This award is worthwhile because it tells my staff and me that the community appreciates our work and involvement in this area.

What is the most important thing for our readers to know about Edwards Floral?

We are a family-operated business. We have high expectations of ourselves and our employees. We strive to offer the best quality of flowers, customer service and design available. 

What advice would you offer to others who aspire to be a Choice winner?

If you focus on serving your community to the best of your ability, you will be successful.
