Plano Civic Chorus to Hold Auditions for 2009–2010 Season
Love to sing? Come join us for an exciting season! The Plano Civic Chorus (PCC) always welcomes fresh new choral talent!
Auditions for the 2009-2010 concert season will be held on the following dates:
Monday evening, August 3, 2009, beginning at 7 p.m.
Monday evening, August 10, 2009, beginning at 7 p.m.
Monday evening, August 17, 2009, beginning at 7 p.m.
Auditions will be in the choir room of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093 (between Preston Road and the Tollway).
All voice parts are welcome; choral experience is preferred. Plano residency is not required. Participation in PCC requires annual dues of $100 and the purchase of concert attire.
2009–2010 Concert Season
Saturday, November 7, 2009—Ludwig Van Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis
Saturday, December 19, 2009—George Frederick Handel’s Messiah
Saturday, March 6, 2010—Music of Britten, Vaughn Williams, Rutter, Holst and other English Composers
Saturday, May 8, 2010—Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana
Rehearsals for the 2009–2010 concert season begin Monday, August 24, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

About the Plano Civic Chorus:
Since 1973 the Plano Civic Chorus has been promoting the art of choral singing in Plano and the surrounding areas. The chorus performs several concerts each season and also sings at community events and private functions. Auditions for the chorus are held twice a year and are open to all area singers with choral experience.
