Summer is always a great time to reunite with old friends. Recently, members of the retired teachers of Lake Highlands High School met for their annual summer luncheon. The members of WORD, better known as the Wildcat Order of Retired Dinosaurs, meet several times a year to update themselves on their latest activities, their family and any local information about Lake Highlands High School.  Retired teachers, staff and administrators are invited to attend. Former teacher Laura Alverson is the contact person for the group of educators.
