LHHS band takes the field

The Wildcat Marching Band of Lake Highlands High School is back on the field,preparing for this year’s halftime show. This year’s band will be under the leadership of drum majors Jillian Barrineau, Preston Nielsen and Claire Pittman.

Section leaders are Jennifer Ciocan, flute; Emily Gray, clarinet; Sarah Pickett, alto saxophone; Garrett Wingfield, tenor and baritone saxophone; Hannah Scott, horn; Luke Wingfield, trumpet; Tyler Patton, trombone; Erik Estrada, euphonium;Michael Whorton, tuba; Jordan Brooks, drumline; and Alyssa Irby, front ensemble.

Drill assistants for marching season are Jacki Stone, Mat Nagle, Sydney Ryan, Eileen Haefner, Michael Woolley, Nhan Phan, Conor Puckett, Pearson Smith, ChrisWilson, Elliot Bucki, Dillon MacIntyre, David Burkhalter, Jacob Grunewald, Greyson Morgan and Hart Rockwell.

Jeff Bradford returns for his fourth year as director of bands at Lake Highlands High School. Assistant directors are Tate Finch, Mark Lara, James LaBrecque and Danny Martinez.

The band will begin previewing this year’s show at the opening football game against Mesquite High School on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.
