For the eighth straight year since that fateful day on 9-11-2001, the students faculty, and Boy Scout Troop 719 particpated in a memorial service honoring those who lost their lives and their surviving families. Surrounded by the entire compliment of students and teachers, five boy scouts from Troop 719 and their leader, Mrs. Pat Thompson (also a teacher at St. Patrick) raised the American Flag to half-staff and then led everyone in prayers and poetry in commemoration of the victims of September 11, 2001. The students and teachers returned in silence to their classrooms at the conclusion of the service.
