Troop 70 names new scoutmaster

BSA Troop 70 recently named assistant scoutmaster John Shipes as its new scoutmaster. Shipes replaces longtime scoutmaster Bob Pospick, making him only the 17th scoutmaster the troop has known in its almost 80-year-old history. Shipes and his wife Cindy have two sons, Matthew, 24, a Troop 70 Eagle, and William, 11, who is currently in the troop.
