It was a successful turnout for the Wine Social and Poker Tournament organized by the Dad’s Club at Stonewall Jackson Elementary. The Dad's club raised $2,900 dollars that will be used to help fund school improvements.

We appreciate everyone who came out and donated. We also thank our sponsors. Jason's Deli for providing food trays, Southwest airlines for 2 tickets, the Taco Joint for their donation of a gift card, and the Lakewood Tavern for the use of their space, food and drinks and awesome service.

Watch for details on the next Dad’s Club Poker Tournament, tentatively slated for the end of January, 2010.
