WEHS Science Club entertains Tibbals students before an assembly

0 Ratings / 0 Comments
WEHS Chemistry teacher, Ross Pruit, took seven students along with the Science Club's robot, "Mistake #2", to Tibbals Elementary in order to kick off the Science Fair.  "Mistake #2" was created by the Science Club in order to enter a robotics competition that will be hosted at Wylie East High School.  As the students walked into the gym, they were awe-struck by "Mistake #2" as it glided across the floor and were excited to see the robot.  During the assembly, Mr. Pruit taught the kids about atoms and the scientific method by showing them several different experiments including a Metal Burning experiment and a Hot Air Balloon experiment.
