The first station was a petting zoo. Cathy’s Critters brought goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, a cow and even a llama for the children to enjoy. The boys and girls were able to pet, feed, hold and even bottle feed the animals. Following the animal fun, they visited the tattoo table and picked out their favorite design.
The pumpkin patch, picture area and hay ride comprised station two. Each child took home a perfect pumpkin of their choosing. Then group and individual pictures were taken by the fall vignette for their end of year scrapbook. After pictures, it was off to the hay ride where they were pulled at a leisurely pace around the quarter mile loop of the parking lot. Finally, station three consisted of snacks and a craft in the classrooms. Parents and grandparents took a lead role in bringing the snacks and creating fun crafts for the children to enjoy. “We could not have ordered a more perfect day,” said Rebecca West, kindergarten prep teacher and one of the organizers of the event. “This is the first year the Lambs have brought the festivities to their school and based on the fun had by all, it will not be the last!”
