The hero of this story is my 59 year old sister who just returned from Iraq. Mary Lou Soto Nateros graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1968. Shortly after that she joined the Navy. After leaving the Navy, she married and had her family.

Years later her love for our country compelled her to join the Air Force Reserve. She left due to family obligations, but shortly afterwards she joined the Army Reserve. She stayed with them many years before going to Iraq as a communication's specialist.

I am proud to call  this veteran a sister to me and my brothers, and I want the world to know that she is also a daughter, mother and grandmother.
