Olympic “Mathletes” at Stonewall Jackson

On Saturday, November 14, students of the Stonewall Jackson Math Team competed in the 34th Annual DISD Math Olympiad at Skyline High School.
Stonewall fourth-grader Alexander Canright retained his title from last year, taking 1st Place for a second year in a row. Stonewall fifth-grader Travis Eden won 3rd Place in the Northeast Learning Community. The teams were coached by Stonewall teachers Ms. Barnes (3rd grade), Ms. Sandoval (4th grade), and Ms. Trapalis (5th grade).
