1 Rating / 0 Comments
Applications from eighth grade non-residents of the Woodrow Wilson High School attendance zone will accepted

for fall admission to Pre-International Baccalaureate and four college prep academies* from February 1-26.

A Parental Public School Choice Application can be obtained from the district's website

Parental Public School Choice and Student Transfer Office 3700 Ross Ave., Room 101, Box 12 Dallas, TX 75204

(972) 925-3270, Fax (972) 925-3271

Non-DISD residents may also request a transfer for these special programs. They must also fill out two

forms - the Parental School Choice Application and an Out-of-District Transfer Application.

The district does not charge out-of-district tuition.

Woodrow neighborhood students will have first priority. They don not need to fill out an application.

There is more information on IB and the other academies at http://www.woodrowwildcats.org/ where Academy of International Baccalaureate application can be downloaded.

*Academy of Math, Science and Technology; Academy of Performing Arts; Academy of Banking, Finance and Entrepreneurship; and Academy of International Baccalaureate

Woodrow is one of four IB World Candidate Schools in Texas. Newsweek lists it as "One of the Top High Schools in America". Recently the school won the ACT College Readiness Award.  Schools in both those categories are in the top five percent of all high schools.
