Saturday, February 15, was a cool crisp day. The Cub Scouts of Pack 480, were enthusiastic about spending this day in the sunshine working towards improving the flower beds at the cafeteria courtyard of Rose Mary Haggar Elementary. These dedicated boys worked hard preparing the beds, planting, and mulching. They loved getting the chance to work together to make the school more beautiful. The Webelo Scouts were working their way to being Boy Scouts by achieving their Arrow of Light. This award requires a Conservation Project and this was the perfect activity for them. Not only were they working on earning their award, their school was also benefitting from all of their efforts. Lauri Braschler, the PTA Environmental board member was a great help in making all of this happen. It turned out to be a fantastic day full of learning and teamwork!
